Following continued expansion and growth, our client, a Marketing and Communications company with a global reach now seeks a IT Security Engineer on a hybrid basis.You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various security tools and platforms, ensuring the security and integrity of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security tools such as Trend Anti-virus, Cloudflare, Email filtering, Microsoft 365 security, and Nessus Tenable scanning solutions. As part of our clients Cloud first strategy, you must have a strong working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be proficient in managing security aspects related to AWS services, including Active Directory, Entra, and other related technologies. A good network background is highly desirable for this position. Familiarity with SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) technologies like Cloudflare is required, as you will be responsible for aligning the company's access policies to support a Zero Trust networking model. Responsibilities of IT Security Engineer: Manage and administer day-to-day security tools, including Trend Anti-virus, Forescout, Email filtering, Microsoft 365 security, and Nessus Tenable scanning solutions. Maintain a strong working knowledge of AWS services and manage security aspects related to AWS, such as Active Directory, Entra, etc. Align company access policies with the Zero Trust networking model, using SASE technologies like Cloudflare. Regularly review vulnerability scanning tool outputs and oversee the remediation process with multiple teams. Ensure compliance with our clients security policies, including ISO27001 requirements and customer-specific security requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls on the IT infrastructure. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices in the field and make recommendations for improvement. Qualifications to be an IT Security Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer or a similar role. Strong experience with security tools such as Trend Anti-virus, Forescout, Email filtering, Microsoft 365 security, and Nessus Tenable scanning solutions. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services and related security aspects. Familiarity with SASE technologies, specifically Cloudflare, is highly desirable. Good understanding of network infrastructure and protocols. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or AWS Certified Security - Specialty. Knowledge of ISO27001 requirements and experience in aligning security policies with customer-specific requirements is a plus.
