Data Visualisation and Strategy Consultant - Bolton
Data Visualisation and Strategy Consultant is required to lead Keoghs data analysis initiatives, and help both Keoghs and Keoghs’ clients use data to drive business decision-making, in particular to improve claims outcomes and identify new services, products or revenue opportunities.
You will report to the Director of Client Solutions, and will regularly work with the Executive Board and other senior stakeholders to set the direction of ‘big data’ initiatives.

Data Visualisation and Strategy Consultant - Bolton
Data Visualisation and Strategy Consultant is required to lead Keoghs data analysis initiatives, and help both Keoghs and Keoghs’ clients use data to drive business decision-making, in particular to improve claims outcomes and identify new services, products or revenue opportunities.
You will report to the Director of Client Solutions, and will regularly work with the Executive Board and other senior stakeholders to set the direction of ‘big data’ initiatives.
Over time, the position will likely expand to include a direct report (a Senior Claims Analyst focussing on the processing of analysis of data both internally obtained and externally obtained) however, for the immediate future the successful candidate will be expected to perform these duties as an integral part of the Data Strategy and Visualisation Consultant role. Key Accountabilities
•Obtaining data from both internal sources (data warehouse) and external sources (clients own submission of data) and developing a central repository for external data

Java Developer – Gloucester

GB Technology is currently working with one of our prestigious key clients based in Gloucester. We need a Java Developer to join our client’s team at an exciting time to help deliver a challenging business priorities by supporting and developing a variety of Java-based systems.
Within the wider Systems Development team, there are a range of other disciplines such as .NET (Company Intranet and Extranet) and those that support and develop the company General Insurance System (IBM System I / RPG). You will work with these teams, others within Business Solutions (analysts, infrastructure technicians, testers, and support and ops staff) and with members of other departments in the organisation: marketing, claims, underwriting, the whole business.
The company are looking to develop a new broker-facing online application, using Java, Spring MVC, and Angular 2. Not forgetting the smaller (but important) things, the company use a range of technologies such as GIT, Hibernate, Jenkins, Websphere, and Eclipse. They also make heavy use of JUnit for testing purposes.
You will have the benefit of using the latest hardware, and will receive a Pluralsight subscription to support your ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
The job is a mix of business-as-usual and project work, with an ever-changing balance between the two. It involves configuration, customisation, and programming, and it requires a lot of interaction with the IT teams and the business. You will have the opportunity to learn, receive training and develop existing skills across a range of systems within a complex and dynamic architecture.
The company have a number of maintenance and development projects which need to be live by the end of 2017, and you will play a key role in helping to achieve this.
Essential Skills:
* Knowledge and experience of Java (at least Java 6) and developing in Eclipse
* The ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances, pay attention to detail and, above all, be versatile
Desirable Skills:
