The project involves the continued maintenance, evolution and modernisation of bespoke Earth Observation applications. The client is a leader in providing world-class EO data services to end users. Phases 1 & 2 of the project have been highly successful leading to an expanded scope for phase 3 extension. Phase 3 is focusing on refreshing the application portfolio using modern software development and testing practices to streamline service delivery as well as systems engineering. We are looking for a Software Consultant who has technical hands-on experience with evolving applications & delivering them into operations, technical authoring skills, and problem solving. They will be responsible for coordinating internal team activities, interacting with internationally based operators and customers, and managing suppliers by ensuring they deliver to time and quality. They will also be able to utilise their experience to manage software releases, diagnose and respond to live incidents and provide technical inputs to discussions with the client.
