You are likely to have an accounting qualification, either qualified, part qualified, QBE or AAT, A, FCCA etc. A track record as an Implementation Consultant on similar products such as Dynamics NAV, Sage X3, PS Financials, SAP Business One or SAP Business ByDesign, SunSystems, Dynamics AX, Exchequer, Open Accounts, Coda Dream, UNIT 4 Agresso Business World, Greentree, Infor, Access Dimensions, Sage 200 etc. etc. is essential. Excellent functional experience, business analysis, communication, presentation, time management and inter-personal skills are required, and you can handle the full software implementation lifecycle from requirements, through to end training and hand holding. You know your accountancy rules and regulations, you have a good understanding of management / financial accounts and reporting including job costing & project accounting, COA design, base financial ledgers, multi-currency, and consolidations, and you understand the range of software & hardware tools required to deliver a good solution. Extra knowledge in the areas of distribution, project accounting, manufacturing accounts, CRM, or e-Modules would be a bonus. There is a huge demand for Epicor skills in the UK and globally.
