At Johnnie Johnson Housing, we're looking for an ICT Service Desk Engineer to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. Joining our ICT Support Team, you will provide technical IT support to all JJH users over the phone, remotely and onsite, liaising with internal colleagues and external suppliers whilst maintaining excellent customer care. The role features many aspects of IT including hardware, software and end user support. You'll speak to customers initially to discuss the problem before remotely accessing their computer to diagnose and remedy the issue - if the problem can't be resolved remotely or requires escalation, then this will either be assigned to the appropriate team or a site visit will be scheduled. So now you've heard a bit about the role, let us tell you a bit about the team! It's important to know who you might be working with, right? Our Team You will report into our Head of ICT and sit within a close knit team of six. As well as providing support to the organisation, we support each other too. We work hard but we also like to have fun and you'll often find us catching up outside of work. About you Do you have proven experience of a desktop support role? Do you have experience of administering and troubleshooting a range of IT systems? If so, we want to hear from you! This role requires an individual who has good analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You'll be experienced in Active Directory and/or Office 365 and be comfortable using development tools such as Microsoft MDT. We need you to be experienced in installs, moves and changes including build and desk moves, have networking knowledge such as TCP/IP and LAN/WAN and have a good understanding of mobile phone support (IOS/Android).
