Our client is looking for a hands-on team leader / manager for a newly created role in their Stockport office. The role would suit someone who has a solid background in IT Support / Infrastructure, who would be comfortable managing a small team of 2. The role will be varied and interesting, and suit someone who is comfortable dealing with people at all levels of seniority and contributing to IT Strategy as well as leading hands-on support services. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes: - Strong hands-on support skills in Microsoft, Cloud and network infrastructure Service Delivery knowledge (ITIL) Leadership skills Project Management skills (IT Infrastructure upgrades, etc) Wider knowledge of Vendor Management, Technology Planning, etc, ensuring technology services are delivered in a first-class manner and that they remain fit for purpose moving forwards Great communication skills Strong documentation skills The role will be busy and varied.
