Job Description
This is a leadership role undertaking the lead in AX projects as well as leading a team of functional and business consultants. You will be responsible for the delivery of AX implementations, working closely with clients and providing direction to the implementation team. You may also be involved in pre-sales and solution architect tasks. The Lead Consultant is a key client facing role working primarily to ensure my client delivers on the Dynamics AX solutions to their customers.
-Working to a Technical work stream plan
-Manage the development practices for AX
-Keep up to speed and advise on the latest technical changes with each AX release
-Work with and manage the technical consultants
-Feed into the technical solutions to address data migration
-Feed into discussions on reporting tools to be used with the AX technology stack
Essential skills:
Knowledge of core Dynamics AX development tools, including X++, MorphX
3 to 5 years technical consulting experience in Dynamics AX with focus on, familiar with and experienced in:
Core application functionality
Implementation Methodology
Application technology stack
Related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, AIF Integration; Microsoft BizTalk Server and Active Directory
3 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics AX / X++
