Mobile App Developer iOS & Android
A fantastic opportunity for a Mobile App Developer with experience on both iOS & Android to work for a leading communications company who are shaping the future of real-time communications products. Due to an exciting product roadmap, and fast business growth, this unique opportunity offers the chance to be the in-house expertise for all mobile application-related development for the real-time communications platform joining a team of 10 Software and Web Developers.
Location: Remote - with occasional team-meet-ups in the Basingstoke Office (approx. once a quarter), so candidates must live within a reachable distance of Basingstoke
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + benefits
Requirements for Mobile App Developer iOS & Android
* Strong commercial experience in both iOS and Android mobile app development
* Experience with Swift / Java or Kotlin
* Confident to be the in-house 'expert' for everything mobile-app-related
* Must have strong experience with push notifications - vital!
* Exprience working within an Agile environment
* Any experience with Apple CallKit, Android TelecomManager, React, Angular, CapacitorJS, or TypeScript would be beneficial
* Great communication skills and enjoys working in a highly collaborative team
Responsibilities for Mobile App Developer iOS & Android
You will be the first dedicated mobile-app developer to join the team, now that scope of work has grown beyond the other Developers expertise, as the business has grown. On a daily basis you will be:
* Enhance and maintain the native mobile aspects of a real-time communications application.
* Work with native iOS and Android platforms to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Develop and improve native components using CapacitorJS plugins to integrate with the broader tech stack.
* Implement advanced telephony features, including VoIP
* Collaborate with the existing development team to streamline processes and enhance application performance.
* Ensure system reliability and stability by contributing to resilient and scalable architectures.
* Stay up to date with the latest developments in mobile technology to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
