The role of the Principal Technical Consultant (Networking) with in this MSP is to be the most senior technical resource to consult, design, plan and implement highly complex technical networking projects to an extremely high standard. To work closely with the other technical teams, and to act as a mentor in their chosen fields. To inspire others with their enthusiasm and drive particularly pertaining to their core areas of technology. The Principal Technical Consultant will also support the Sales and Solutions teams to provide the technical expertise required to close sales opportunities and propose the current plan to better serve customers. This will typically involve technical presentations, solution demonstrations, solution design/configuration, proposals, bid response documentation, Statement of Work creation, HLD and LLD documentation, which must always be produced to a very high standard. Be a focal point for the team completing peer reviews regularly and ensuring very high standards across the team. Must be eligible for Security Clearance.

Certifications:
Essential
CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Data Center preferred),
One or more CCNP (Enterprise, Data Center, Security, or Collaboration preferred).
Fortinet NSE4 or greater.
Desirable
Meraki Solutions Specialist.
VMware VCP-NV (2020); VCAP-NV(Deploy) (2020).
AWS and Azure associate-level accreditations.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record with: Cisco Networking and Switching / ACI / SDA / DNAC / Meraki Networking & Switching / HPE Aruba / Nexus Family range (configuration & troubleshooting) / Security with Cisco ISE, ASA, and Firepower.
- Demonstrable exposure to NSX design and implementation and Cloud security with thorough understanding in UCS/ Hyperflex.
- Ideally worked with Checkpoint, Juniper and Palo Alto.
- Technically lead from the front.
- Actively attends internal meetings and encourages others to do the same.
- Holds, maintains, and continues to develop industry
- Recognised expert-level technical relevance through prior experience from being involved in delivering complex projects, appropriate vendor certifications, technical training in core and associated skills (multi-skilled), vendor relationships, industry awareness and attendance / participation in trade/vendor events.
- Is able to continually demonstrate exceptional skills in time-management, planning, sales, and all types of communication
- Has proven extensive commercial awareness, able to protect the interests the company in all aspects of professional services delivery.
- Is able to continually demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience of technical infrastructure hardware, software, and solutions, as well as extensive expert-level technical experience in one or more relevant fields.
- Is able to continually demonstrate delivery of quality and consistency whilst delivering excellence and at the same time continuing to strive for improvement.
- Prior experience working in an IT Services organisation, IT channel, or value-added reseller.
Salary £80K to £110K plus 10% bonus paid quarterly plus benefits.
