Senior Data Scientist

About You

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their Edinburgh team. We are seeking candidates who have the following traits;

• Can identify problems solvable by data as well as implementing data driven solutions

• Experience with building relationships with both clients and stakeholders confidently and clearly

• Technical knowhow as this will be a hands on role

• Experience of mentoring and establishing themselves a mentor to help inspire and motivate team members towards a shared goal

• Delivery and value focused in order to provide the best commercial solutions

• Adaptable and curious - the client doesn't expect you to be in an expert in every field of data science and machine learning but have be passionate about learning new domains.

What You'll Need

• Ability to work with and write code using Python and R

• Experience working with and maintaining a range of Cloud services - mainly Azure, AWS & GCP

• Able to apply machine learning and advanced analytics techniques in a commercial environment

• Update to date knowledge of SQL to implement business decisions.
