Security Engineer

My client, a speciality insurance company, is seeking a Security Engineer on a long-term contractual basis to wok on actions coming out of an ISO27001 assessment.

Successful Security Engineers will also be working on SIEM notifications, mainly coming from the firewall, which will require fine tuning to reduce number of alerts.

Reporting into the Information Security Manager, the successful Security Engineer will likely Develop / Configure and maintain security controls in Azure and O365 & will have:

• Strong Infrastructure knowledge
• Excellent understanding and expertise in Microsoft products (Azure, AD, O365 etc)
• Good understanding and awareness of Change Management and processes
• Familiar with Security standards such as ISO27001
• Experience in Vulnerability Management and Upgrades
• Azure AD InTune and MDM
• Network and end point security
• Managing and identifying new security controls
• Experience in designing and implementing IT security controls
• Response to investigations launched and passed on from SOC

Relevant technologies include:

• Cisco Meraki (Firewall, Umbrella)
• Azure/O365
• Mimecast
• SIEM Alerts
• Pick up daily SIEM Alerts
• IOS/Windows

Experience of InTune and Powershell would be an advantage.
