Senior Network Engineer - NSX - Defence Contract - 6 Months - fully onsite Based in Yeovil (3-5 days) compressed hours available DV Clearance is required for this role Recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions within the UK defence sector. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, implement and support VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking solutions across highly secure environments, while providing technical leadership to project teams. Experience includes: Strong experience with VMware NSX-T (or equivalent network virtualisation platforms) Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS and Cisco networking Experience with software-defined networking, micro-segmentation and secure network architectures Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and virtualised environments Previous experience delivering within secure, enterprise or defence environments Ability to mentor engineers and own technical delivery It would be an added advantage if you had any of the following: VMware NSX certification VCF, vSphere or vSAN experience Automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs) AWS/Azure networking Please apply for immediate interview!
