The role will be to develop, deliver and maintain high quality BI and MI solutions. This will include analysis of key data to enable management teams to make informed business decisions.
The post holder will be responsible for the full life cycle data management including data scoping and capture, to its management, analysis and reporting.
The role will involve researching new technologies and making recommendations for future developments.
Main Duties of the role:
* Monthly MI report packs.
* Daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal use.
* Ad hoc data requests.
* Full ownership of all database information.
* Project ownership to improve data integrity and automation for client and supplier data.
* Data and system automation through SQL technologies such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
* Production and maintenance of high quality technical documentation.
* Understand the business needs to ensure new and existing reports are fit for purpose.
* Assist in the development of new reports to meet changing business needs.
* Manipulate information to present it in a meaningful and easy to understand format.
* Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.
* Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
* Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs.
* Carry out reactive and proactive data analysis of structured and non-structured data sets
* Create and maintain business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
* Create end to end solutions for problems or new requests for data.
* Provide recommendations to the Head of Business Intelligence on existing or new solutions as necessary
* Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by Directors, Managers, Clients, and other stakeholders.
