Your Responsibilities:
Based in Belfast, as a Senior Software Engineer you will be a key technical member of a small agile team and will contribute at a strategic level during the design and development of software components. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Design and develop programming system making explicit determinations about system performance
* Implementation of features using object oriented languages such as Java and C#
* Contribute at a strategic level
* Interface with clients' business requirements and objectives into technical application solutions
* Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
* Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities
* Participate in design reviews and recommend improvement
* Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products
* Exchange knowledge of best practice software development methods including design pattern, 3rd party tools, language structures that are potentially beneficial to our clients' company
* Analyze and troubleshoot applications issues in timely fashion
CRITERIA:
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following criteria:
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject
* 5+ years proven experience of server and/or client side product development
* Strong knowledge of programming in object oriented languages in commercial sector such as Java and c#
* Demonstrable knowledge of IT concepts, applications and technologies
