Our client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. This is a long term contract, and requires candidates to be in office in London 3 days per week. Client Details A leader in the research, analytics and education technology sector Description Lead requirements discovery through workshops and stakeholder interviews; translate business needs into application, system, and process changes that enable consolidation and migration. Plan and support change management to minimise staff and customer impact, including communications, cutover/runbooks, go-live support, and hypercare. Design and deliver user training and onboarding for new systems/processes; develop training materials and facilitate workshops to drive adoption. Produce high-quality documentation, including BRDs, Process Description Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), integration specifications, data mapping, and operational playbooks. Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, maintaining clear, proactive communication and stakeholder alignment across short, medium and long-term deliverables. Profile 7+ years in Technical Business Analysis or Business Analysis with demonstrable experience delivering large-scale integrations, system consolidation, data migration, business change and process improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall), with experience operating within hybrid delivery. Proficiency in business process analysis and improvement, requirements elicitation (interviews, workshops), requirements management, and business/system modelling. Advanced documentation skills: BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data dictionaries, integration specifications; advanced proficiency with MS Visio (or similar), Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to articulate and communicate complex technical and process concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences; exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. The role focuses on managing security-driven projects that enhance technology resilience, compliance, and overall cyber maturity across the business. Role & Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of Information Security projects, ensuring clear milestones, governance, and successful outcomes. Oversee cross-functional teams and coordinate activity across multiple workstreams, locations, and time zones. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies related to security, technology, and compliance. Maintain strong communication with security and IT stakeholders, providing regular reporting and effective escalation. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation aligned to PMO standards. Track budgets, forecasts, and financial variances to support accurate portfolio reporting. Essential Skills & Requirements: Proven Project Management experience delivering IT or security-focused projects within large, complex environments. Strong understanding of Information Security principles, controls, and associated technologies. Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures. Experience managing distributed teams and multiple concurrent workstreams. Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills. Degree in a relevant field (IT, Business, Engineering, or similar). Desired Skills: Experience with areas such as Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Threat Detection, or Security Operations. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) an advantage. Experience delivering enterprise-wide or global security initiatives.
