SC Cleared VCF Consultant/Architect - 6 months+ - Remote UK (with occasional travel to client sites) Looking for an experienced SC Cleared VCF Consultant/Solutions Architect to lead the design, delivery and optimisation of enterprise hybrid cloud and software-defined data centre environments. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end cloud VCF architectures across compute, storage, networking and life cycle management Lead platform deployments, upgrades and migration programmes of VCF and associated VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX and Aria suite) Assess existing environments and produce detailed design documentation and implementation plans Provide technical leadership across transformation initiatives, including automation and cloud integration Troubleshoot and optimise platform performance, resilience and reliability Advise on operational best practice, roadmap planning and life cycle strategy Support solution shaping and technical input during pre-sales engagements Skills & Experience Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade hybrid cloud or SDDC environments Deep knowledge of virtualisation, software-defined storage and network virtualisation technologies Experience with infrastructure automation and life cycle management tooling Proven track record designing large-scale, secure cloud platforms Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting capability This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. We are recruiting for a VMware Principal Consultant to join the team who has strong VMware Cloud Foundation 5 skills and experience for a leading IT Service Provider on contract - the role is predominantly fully remote with occasional travel to their London offices. The candidate must also be preparing for the VCF9 release certification - and the candidate must hold the VCP-VCF certification. Further VMware specialisations are also preferred, with vRealize Automation (Aria Automation) vRealize Operations (Aria Operations) skills being in demand. More general automation skills including powershell, python, JavaScript will be beneficial in completing automation projects.
