Must attend onsite if remote access is unavailable or where Testing requires physical presence. Core hours: 09:30 - 16:30. Possible requirements to work: Outside normal hours for planned activities (work orders, product releases). Unplanned/emergency incidents (high severity). On OOH (Out of Hours) support rota , Sunday-Friday, 1 week in 3, between 17:00-08:00. On weekends (planned work, up to 8 hours, max 2 weekends/month). Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer (SAP R2D - Requirements to Develop) to manage, maintain, support, and configure our business-critical SAP system , which underpins applications for: The processing and issuance of banknotes. The secure storage and processing of gold bullion. The role requires expertise in SAP Basis and strong knowledge of functional modules, particularly MM, SD, and WM . Candidates with deep expertise in at least one of these will be considered. Key Responsibilities Deliver major technical change projects on the SAP platform. Maintain and upgrade the SAP system (application, database, operating system). Provide SAP Basis technical expertise , including as-is/to-be design and architecture. Define high-level and low-level SAP platform designs. Provide technical support across the Bank , ensuring 24x6 availability, with occasional OOH support. Produce outputs that meet high standards of quality, maintainability, and compliance with software development and assurance principles. Actively demonstrate the Bank's core values: collaborative, inclusive, empowering, decisive, and open . Essential Requirements SAP Basis expertise with hands-on experience in upgrades and major changes. SAP Certified Application Associate (or higher). Proven end-to-end experience in at least 3 SAP platform projects (installations, upgrades, migrations). Strong technical expertise in SAP software logistics, enhancement packs, upgrades, corrections . In-depth knowledge of SAP Client-based platforms . Linux/RHEL operating system skills (hands-on). Excellent communication, organisation, and workload management skills. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and toolsets (eg, Jira). Desirable Skills Solution Architecture skills (TOGAF foundation, ideally SAP Technology). Experience with Client RAC and Client Database Clustering . Advanced skills in RHEL for SAP Solutions .
