Role: Devops engineer Location: Warwick, UK Type: Permanent KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive DevSecOps Technical design and provide bespoke customer solutions at an Architectural/Business level by identifying good design patterns and pointing current inefficiencies. Should be the GO-TO person on resolving technical problems in the account and practice. In depth of knowledge of multiple technological areas across DevOps and Agile processes, products and frameworks on on-prem and public cloud. Collaborate with multiple teams from Wipro/customer to arrive at technical and tactical decisions and share Wipro's expertise in DevSecOps and Agile capabilities. Creating the optimum technical solution in the context of the customer's environment, requirements. Individual contribution with hands-on development, Scripting and tools. Technical and Personal Mentoring of Junior team members Thought leadership via participation in external forums (journal/website/blog/external event) SKILL SET ( Must ) Strong Working knowledge on various CI/CD environments and tools like Jira, Confluence, Xray, POL, Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Cloudbees Jenkins, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Delphix/GenRocket, Parasoft, JFrog/Xray,Artifactory, AzureDevOps, AnsibleTower, Liquibase, Experience in working with REST APIs or Web Service and its authentication/authorization techniques Hands-on experience in using any of the following (or similar) languages: Java, Python, Powershell (7+ years Scripting languages) [Plus] Hands-on Experience in at least one of the cloud environments (Azure), containerization (AKS, VMware etc) and Shell Scripting Experience in testing tools like Selenium, Neoload, UFT, JMeter, Rest Assured, Appium,Tosca etc. Previous Experience in recruitment/team building and mentoring.
