You will work closely with development teams and colleagues in the development of the architecture of their software products. We need a Data Architect who has a strong commercial background working their way up the ranks from SQL DBA to Architect with an understanding of information systems & data life-cycle management best practices as well as methodologies, SELC/SDLC. Key Skills Required Data modelling Data policies development Data warehousing SQL development & administration Responsibilities Developing and owning a data strategy and associated policies Responsible for Data governance, Data architecture principles and standards Identifying improvements in our data systems Involvement in selecting the best systems for addressing data storage, retrieval and management Leading the DBA Team Project Management The successful Data Architect will work for a prestigious software house with an impressive history and more exciting future. The Architect will be embarking on challenging and cutting edge software projects (enterprise level and mobile) for this expanding, award winning company.
