Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop a team of MES engineers and analysts Set priorities and manage resources across projects and production support Establish on-call and Tier 1/2/3 support processes for 24x7 fab operations MES Ownership Own configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of the PROMIS MES Standardize models, workflows, routing, dispatching, and material control in PROMIS Drive reusable templates and global best practices Lead upgrades, patches, and system enhancements Backend & High Availability Accountable for MES backend architecture including servers, databases, middleware, and interfaces Ensure performance, scalability, and system stability Design and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions Lead monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis Meet defined uptime and reliability targets (99.9%+) Maintenance & Vendor Management Manage MES maintenance and support contracts Own vendor relationships, SLAs, licensing, and renewals Coordinate vendor support during incidents and upgrades Manage operational and support budgets Factory Systems Integration Govern integrations with APC / Run-to-Run Control RTD / Dispatch Equipment Integration (SECS/GEM) RMS / FDC / SPC AMHS and material systems ERP/SAP and data platforms Collaborate to define global interface standards, APIs, and data integrity practices Operations & Continuous Improvement Ensure reliable 24x7 MES operations Lead incident and problem management Track KPIs (availability, MTTR, performance) Drive automation and cycle time improvements Support new tool onboarding, new part introduction and fab ramp activities Required Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with minimum of 12 years' applicable experience 7+ years experience with semiconductor manufacturing and manufacturing systems 3+ years leading technical or support teams Hands-on experience with PROMIS MES Experience integrating MES with APC, EI, RTD, RMS, SPC or similar factory systems Experience supporting mission-critical systems in a 24x7 environment Knowledge of databases, system architecture, and troubleshooting Experience managing vendors and support contracts Desired Experience and Skills Experience working in 300mm fully automated fab Multi-site or global fab experience Knowledge of SEMI standards (E30, E40, E87, E90, E94) SAP or enterprise system integration Cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$129,400 -$247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
