Our client is a highly successful global Aerospace company and are looking for a Desktop Manager / Endpoint Manager. This is a newly created role located in Bournemouth but will include global travel initially and then on ad hoc basis. As Desktop Manager / Endpoint Manager you would be looking after our clients Laptops and Desktops estate. You will be required to establish and maintain a global service providing endpoint builds, configurations, standards, application deployments and a strategic roadmap for the endpoint estate. Provision of a governance framework for managing the global desktop estate and overseeing the centrally managed tools and services to maintain consistent endpoint standards that also accommodate unique BU/site requirements. The successful candidate should have worked in a similar role working for a large company with various business units ideally globally.

As the Desktop Manager / Endpoint Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Degree qualified, preferably computer sciences related, or equivalent relevant experience
* Extensive experience of managing complex global desktop environments
* Domain expert in one or more IT technologies e.g. Windows O/S, SCCM, Antivirus products
* Experience of leading technical teams and supporting similar environments

* Develop and implement global configuration baselines and standards for the desktop environment
