Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel/ Storage/ VMWare) - up to £44,000 Milton Keynes - Perm My client pride itself in offering exciting opportunities based in excellent facilities with the knowledge of belonging to one of the UK's market leading financial organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity for the chosen Support Engineer to work with up to the minute advances in technology whilst gaining a fascinating insight into the company and the industry as a whole. The IT Infrastructure team are currently involved in a strategic programme of work, to grow the business and improve Technology. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the financial services sector. The candidate would be Microsoft certified and have spent several years specialising in supporting Windows on both VMWare and Citrix Platforms, with a solid understanding of Cisco Network Administration (CCNA or CCNP Required). As well as all the expected qualities of an experienced Wintel support engineer the following skills are critical to the role. My client is looking for the following; * Wintel Experience needed * Significant experience supporting a Citrix XenApp Farm * Port of call for 3rd line escalations (4th Line Support) * Network trouble shooting, TCP/IP and general WAN/ LAN trouble shooting * Maintain security infrastructure including antivirus software, firewalls and endpoints. * Deploy ESX hosts * Build new servers, physical and virtual. * SAN Storage administration (NetApp) * Troubleshooting skills with VMWare Performance issues. * Microsoft Exchange Administration * CCNA or CCNP (Required)
