Administration Accounts - Permanent - Maidenhead - Up to £18,000
I am recruiting for a company based in Maidenhead, within a fantastic small to medium company. They are looking for somebody who wants to learn new aspects of administration and accounts and expose themselves to these areas.
The responsibilities include:
. Booking in deliveries and arranging testing/configuration of hardware
Arranging shipments of goods within the UK and worldwide
Invoices and purchase orders
Requesting and chasing credit notes from suppliers
Obtaining estimated delivery dates from suppliers
CRM - Updating new and existing maintenance contracts, as well as tracking renewals and cancellations
Monitoring and managing repairs and returns
A small aspect of Credit Control
Banking Cheques
Opening and distributing incoming post, franking outgoing post
Answering phones with great communicational skills
Recording both holiday and sick days
Maintaining stationery
Emptying and loading the dishwasher as every body likes to help
Filing remittances and statements
Holiday/sick cover for other members of the finance and admin department (training will be provided)
Ad hoc roles as directed by the Finance Director
*Process inter-departmental recharges if required
*Provide information for year-end accruals and prepayments
*Ensuring all entries into the system are accurate, have the right coding, VAT and authorisation
*Assisting in advising school staff on the expenses process
*Raising of sales invoices where applicable
*Acting as the first point of contact for both internal customers and external suppliers' queries, supporting the central Transactions and Procurement teams where applicable
*Ensuring all financial records are correctly referenced and filed within the schools
*Supporting school staff with helping to resolve any query or issue relating to financial procedures or processes, referring them to the appropriate area / colleague where necessary
*Carrying out the resolution of any routine queries and initiate the effective notification of more complex issues to the central Transactions or procurement teams for resolution
*Contributing to complying with all Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the area
*Carrying out general support duties in particular around suppliers
