About the RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Sign Services and Traffic Management Technician to join our Operational Highways team at Leicestershire County Council, working as part of the Sign Services team providing the design, manufacture, installation and dismantling of bespoke signage as instructed to meet programme targets. Activities included are sign design and manufacture, sign distribution and data inputting including collections.
The nature of the work may involve you carrying out work outside of normal working hours and at different locations than your designated base.
This role is a "safety critical post" and, consequently, subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with our policies and procedures. A copy of our Substance Testing Policy, Procedure and Guidance is available upon request.
