Quality Assurance Technician

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recent manufacturing experience to develop their career within a structured quality environment, supporting both supplier quality and production processes.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across supplier and production operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Goods Inwards inspection and supplier monitoring systems
  • Coordinating supplier related rejections and managing RMA processes
  • Liaising with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions
  • Maintaining first article inspection reports for major customers
  • Managing non conforming products and supporting MRB processes
  • Assisting with product and process investigations
  • Supporting QA and Engineering teams during new product introduction
  • Maintaining and reviewing the NCR database
  • Assisting with ISO9001:2015 compliance, documentation, and audits
  • Creating and reviewing quality documentation including standards, plans, and inspection instructions
What you will need Essential
  • Recent experience (1 3 years) within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365
Desirable
  • Third level qualification in Engineering or similar
  • Experience working in a Quality Assurance role
  • Familiarity with MRP systems
Working Hours
  • 38 hours per week across a 4 day working week
  • Flexible shift options:
    • 7:00am - 5:00pm
    • 7:30am - 5:30pm
    • 8:00am - 6:00pm (Monday Thursday)
