Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high impact systems engineering across a major long term nuclear programme.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Lead and direct systems engineering activities across complex programmes
- Allocate tasks and oversee delivery from a team of systems engineers
- Mentor and support junior engineers to grow capability across the team
- Deliver hands on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration
- Lead and contribute to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders
Essential Experience
- Strong systems engineering experience across requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification and validation
- Leadership or mentoring experience within engineering teams
- Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes
- Reviewing technical outputs and leading engineering or design reviews
- Application of full lifecycle systems engineering expertise
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (desirable)
