Cyber Assurance Engineer

At Evodia Limited, were proud to partner with a leading client in the defence and aerospace sector to find a talented Cyber Assurance Engineer. If you have experience in Secure by Design and hold SC security clearance, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

Based in Bristol, this role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring just 2 to 3 days onsite per week. The position is available immediately and initially runs until 31 March 2026, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive day rate of up to £570 (inside IR35), reflecting your expertise and experience.

You will support the global Operations and the Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) Core delivery team by applying Cyber assurance principles and Secure by Design practices in line with JSP440 and RA5890 standards. Your work will involve ensuring the systems meet rigorous security requirements, contributing to the safety and integrity of military and civil UAV operations.

• Essential Experience: Proven background in Secure by Design (SbD), with thorough knowledge of JSP440 leaflet 5C SbD and RA5890.
• Security Clearance: Valid SC security clearance is a must due to the timescales involved.

• Secure by Design specific to UAVs, whether military or civil.
• Understanding of UAV air systems from an engineering perspective.
• Experience working within joint military and civil teams, with MoD and civil SbD experience being advantageous.
