IT Support Engineer (2nd/3rd Line) - Hybrid, Birmingham (3 days per week in the office)
Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving technical improvement? We're looking for a proactive and collaborative 2nd/3rd Line Engineer to join our client's expanding IT function.
In this role, you'll act as a technical authority within IT support operations, providing an escalation point for the internal team while also supporting the delivery of key technology change across the business. You'll work with a wide range of modern technologies across on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS, network and security appliances, backup solutions, and core business systems.
You'll partner closely with colleagues and external providers, so excellent communication skills are vital. A strong awareness of information security, risk, and best practice will underpin how you operate. You may also be asked to deputise for the Head of IT Services & Security as needed.
