Risk BA Team Lead - Investment Banking (Tech Innovation & Credit Risk) - London Up to £120,000 + Bonus + BenefitsOverview;A leading global investment bank is seeking a Senior Risk Business Analyst Team Lead to join its Technology Innovation function. This role requires strong Counterparty Credit Risk expertise and a genuine passion for technology, AI, and digital transformation. You will lead a team of BAs while driving forward-thinking solutions across the Risk portfolio.Role & Responsibilities;

• Lead and develop a team of BAs within the Risk portfolio.
• Act as a key partner to senior stakeholders across Credit Risk, Change, and Technology.
• Oversee delivery of complex risk initiatives, ensuring effective planning and governance.
• Work hands-on as a Lead BA: requirements, documentation, functional analysis, testing, and solution design.
• Drive innovation-champion AI and emerging technology across the BA function.
• Manage resourcing, performance, KPIs, and BA governance.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.

Essential Skills & Requirements;

• Strong Counterparty Credit Risk knowledge (credit limits, CSAs, PFE, collateral, trade lifecycle).
• Excellent understanding of financial products: Derivatives, Bonds, Credit, FX, Securities Financing.
• BA experience within a top-tier bank/consultancy; confident across full SDLC.
• Technical skills: SQL, advanced Excel; knowledge of systems such as Markitwire, Bloomberg, Moody's, Markit Analytics.
• Forward-thinking mindset with clear passion for innovation and AI adoption.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving ability.
• Team leadership or mentoring experience (full management not essential but desirable).
• Nice to Have: Murex knowledge (risk, P&L, trade lifecycle).
