CNC Miller Programmer

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3)who require a

CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operatorto join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying£45,000 - £50,000per annum(DOE)

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

28 days holiday (includingbank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

The ideal candidate will have experiencein working within an engineeringenvironment. The right candidate will have excellentCNC programmingand settingexperience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programmingand settingup to 5 axismachinery
• Reading and interpreting technical information
• Writingprogrammes from scratch using G and M codes(online and offline)
• Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls
• Producing components to tight tolerances
• Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments
• Quality checking components
• Other general duties when required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
• Must be PCliterate
• Excellent attention to detail
