Linux Engineer-SC, DV Security Cleared-East Midlands-£550

Linux Engineer, SC or DV Security Cleared required by our government client based Milton Keynes. Commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton, North London.

560 per day Umbrella

As you will support a secret classification customer service with a high dependency on system access from site, this role will require 5 days onsite working per week.

Working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.

Experience:

-Experience in a high-pressured, fast-paced team

-SAN/backup Storage

-OS Installation and Maintenance for Linux Platforms

-VMware platform experience

-Apache/NBINX Server Installation

-AWS

-Shell Scripting

-TCP/IP Network Knowledge

- Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience

-Practitioner level knowledge of hardware, software and systems being supported

-Substantial experience in relevant roles, including technologies in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment Skills:

BAU On-Call Working practices

A flat fee is payable for completing an on-call shift of 50 for a 12 hour weekday shift (7pm  7am) and 100 paid for a 24 hour weekend or bank holiday shift (7.00am 7.00am) whether the individual is called upon or not.
