Hardware Architect

YT Tech is working with a leading R&D-driven technology company developing advanced electronic systems. Were seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Engineer to join their team and take full ownership of complex projects from concept and design through to production and ongoing support.

This is a hands-on role in a small, dynamic team, giving you the opportunity to influence product development, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative technology solutions.

• Lead system-level design and development across hardware, electronics, and RF systems

• Act as technical authority and customer-facing lead for assigned products

• Oversee design reviews, system validation, and configuration control

• Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams

• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and product quality

• Support bids, proposals, and coordination with suppliers and partners

• Strong engineering background in electronics, hardware, or RF systems

• Proven experience delivering products from concept to production

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams

• Broad knowledge of system architectures, embedded systems, and electronics

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with formal systems engineering processes

• Experience with Aras Innovator or Altium Designer

• Knowledge of RF and electronic test equipment

• Experience with Python or SysML

• Experience leading large or complex technical bids
