You can be based anywhere in the UK as they will allow remote working and have offices all over the UK. They are looking for another couple of developers to join and established team, so will look at Visualfiles Developers with a range of experience (junior, mid or senior) You will be responsible for the delivery of application development to that help their users and clients drive improvement within the firm through dynamic case management applications. Devops Engineer (Senior) - Puppet/ Cloud - Gain AWS/Docker/Ansible A rapidly growing gaming tech firm is looking for a motivated devops engineer as they build a brand new tech team in London to help scale their platform as they go through rapid expansion with the view to scale and on board customers across different sectors. The company, previously based abroad, started off focusing on branded merchandising but have grown rapidly in the last few years and have specializes in loyalty reward platforms; mainly for E commerce clients focused around the gaming sector. Having taken on many new clients in retail/ health sector they and are now looking to scale the platform to meet the demand from these fast moving sectors. As part of this they are building a brand new tech team to scale the platform and developer new features but to also automate the release around the platform. The devops engineer that will come in will get full autonomy over the function and the technology! You can use whatever tools you see fit for the job. The platform is current hosted in AWS and there is jenkins in place to automate the build process, however, they are looking to fully automate the platform release by setting up continuous integration/ delivery and manage the complete infrastructure. This is a greenfield implementation as the company are at a very early stage in their UK based operations. Working within a team of agile php developers you will be the sole infrastructure focused devops engineer helping to maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure whilst introducing best devops practices which will ideally lead the company to daily releases in the cloud. what are they looking for? Strong Linux systems experience Experience with configuration management: Puppet/ chef/ ansible Knowledge of ELK stack Experience previously setting up CI: Jenkins/ Bamboo Very comfortable with cloud technologies: AWS/ Rackspace. This is a brilliant role to join a rapidly growing company that despite being well established and funded have maintained a start up feel. You will get full autonomy over setting up the devops function and best practices meaning you can make a real impact!
