IT Engineer, 3rd Line Support, Windows, O365, Azure, Cisco, Intune We are recruiting for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer for our client, a professional services and finance institution based in North Yorkshire. On offer is a 3-month initial contract inside IR35 at a daily rate up to £300 per day with strong probability of extension. The role is fully remote, with the odd trip into the office on a very ad-hoc basis. What you will be working on: You will be working among the infrastructure team to ensure high systems availability Systems administration, security, configuration management, various project deliveries, supplier management, user support, procurement and purchasing Dealing with technical escalations from the 1st and 2nd line team efficiently Handling the delivery of updates, system changes and managing systems alongside key third-party suppliers Who you will be working for: Our client are industry leading experts in their field offering a range of professional services that provide tools and services that support business, filling in the gaps whilst protecting them. On the back of significant growth and with an acquisition they require support as they develop their IT infrastructure. We are looking for for someone who has experience with: A deep understanding of all major elements of the IT systems landscape including networking, telephony, operating systems, application servers, firewalls, and mobile devices. Meraki Networks and Portal Management Migration projects Microsoft Azure Microsoft Windows Server (2016,2019) Exchange Online / Office 365, SQL Server, VMware, Azure Active Directory and Group Policy administration Networking components such as TCP/IP, VPN's, LANS, WANS, VLANS, DNS/ WINS and DHCP) with Configuring switches, routers and firewalls (Cisco Meraki) Intune Management What you'll get in return You will be earning up to £300 a day inside IR35, on a 3-month initial contract (extension likely) The role is fully remote, with the odd trip into the office on a very ad-hoc basis.
