The EMEA Security & Loss Prevention team is looking for a Video Analysis Center (VAC) Team Manager to lead the UK VAC Team. This team provides support (by executing programs, projects and tasks) for Field Loss Prevention (Field LP), compliance, and in extended EMEA Security & LP team.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, leading, managing and supporting the VAC Team in the following areas: people management, deployment of new VAC Team programs, projects and tasks implementation (in designing flows and procedures), managing ongoing VAC Team projects and tasks.
The role works cooperatively with all the EMEA Security & LP teams and other teams within the extended organization. The strategic goal of the VAC Team is to become a force multiplier and enabler of the EMEA Security & LP organization.
Key job responsibilities
As a people manager, you will provide leadership and administrative support to your team. You will manage day to day operational activity, aiming to meet the department targets. You will be responsible for executing the strategic planning. The right candidate is required to demonstrate performance in:
People Communicate, Development & Strategy - By developing the career and skillset of the team members through continuous closure of performance feedback loops. Is expected to develop and setup people processes. You will be responsible for identifying training needs. Responsible for creation of a roadmap based on improvement areas and career aspirations. Should be able to hire the best for the team and for Amazon.
Processes Design, Development & Continuous Improvement - By delivering results and contributions through improvement to quality, productivity, and customer experience. Work with various stakeholders within, and outside, EMEA Security & LP to ensure work prioritization and delivery of process level improvements. Consistently demonstrates timely delivery of projects to support the team and department vision.
Performance Metrics Operate & Communicate - By leading the activities of defining, collecting, analyzing and presenting performance related data.
Networking Communicate - The candidate needs to communicate with multiple stakeholders.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Technology, Computer Science, Security or Law;
- People management experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ASIS CPP &/or ASIS PSP, CSyP;
- Project Management - PMP;
- Familiarity with quality tools like Six Sigma, Lean operations, etc.;
- Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage functional team and manage budget;
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility, ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Exceptional customer relationship skills;
- Exceptional attention to details
