For more than 10 years, this humble and mission-led tech scaleup have been leading the way supporting environmental research through technology with their hybrid web/mobile platform as well as bespoke development projects. They've been featured on news shows a number of popular tv programmes and partner with universities and a range of environmental bodies across the UK.

After continued success and organic growth as a fully employee/owner led company, they're excited to welcome a new UX/UI Designer to their tight knit team of 6 to help them continue to take their technology further.

The Role

As a UX/UI designer, you will be taking full responsibility for the design phase across projects. You'll have 2 main sides to your role one will be working on continuous improvement of their main hybrid web/mobile platform, as well as working on a variety of bespoke projects with the likes of the RSPB, Environment agency and more.

As the team is small there is a great opportunity to be involved with multiple areas of the business depending on where you may be interested. The different aspects you can be involved in can range from business development, project management and supporting with design based discussions with customers and colleagues. Being involved in a great variety of projects will allow for processes that will build upon your strengths as a designer.

Key Requirements

You must be comfortable with being responsible for all research and design deliverables across SaaS platforms and thrive on taking ideas from concept through to production, designing elegant user-focused solutions to problems with a passion for user focused design and continual improvement.

Experience with designing accessible app and website interfaces across different devices and platforms and the ability to run workshops and clearly explain design process and decisions when appropriate, persuading stakeholders when necessary.
