Master Data Controller - SAP/APO

My market leading global company is currently searching for a Master data controller to join its digital transformation team with the goal to control and drive maintenance of key data elements while focusing on delivering high data quality targets.

You will be required to influence and maintain high quality of data in our clients enterprise wide system landscape. Effective use of all tools g, SNOW, MDM, SAP, ISDS, to manage business requests and expectations at agreed data quality standards and SLA's. Enforcing governance of data established is RACI's, maintain contact with stakeholders, collect and process feedbacks for continuous improvement of tools, processes and data quality

Essential Skills

• Advanced understanding of SAP and APO functionalities in use connected to master data
• Excellent knowledge of master data management, data structures and principle
• Technical expertise in the configuring, loading and extraction of data from SAP and other enterprise grade applications
• Expert knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Master Data driven processes
• Skilled in the analysis and documentation of complex data sets and related business processes including data lineage and metadata management
• A proven track record of delivering service levels
• Good stakeholder management and enterprise working ability across a wide area of the business with multiple stakeholders and views
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Deep knowledge within data management, basic knowledge about "linking objects" such as BOM, routing, pricing, source list etc.
• Strong communication skills are vital due to global interactions with stakeholders/team members
• Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft data manipulation tools (Ms Access, Ms Excel) or other relational databases along with good working knowledge in spreadsheet applications.
• Understanding of key business processes (manufacturing, purchasing, subcontracting, etc)
• Experience with data management systems.
• Capability to self-learn new software applications and transfer the knowledge
• Experience in SQL (complex queries) and Excel (analysis, pivot, charting) and other data management and insight tools

Our client is going through a period of digital growth so is looking for an individual who as well as having the right technical skill set is looking for a long term role where they can also grow. Ideally you can start aSAP but a notice period id not an issue for the right candidate

The role can be fully remote and the client has a base near London also.
