We are recruiting a permanent Software Engineers for our globally recognised client who are a globally recognised consultancy in Manchester. WHAT WILL THE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS BE DOING?

Our client are on the lookout for several Software Engineers due to their conitnuous growth. They work with Java in the backend in majority, but they also have projects for C++ and Python (with opportunities to cross train). You will be involved in the building, designing and development of the applications. Adhering to best practices with a strong focus on continuous development of our processes, automation and quality control.

There are flexible working arrangements on offer post-COVID - with fully remote operations currently.

THE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS SHOULD HAVE….

• SC Clearance / or eligibility to achieve SC Clearance
• Java
• JavaScript
• CI & CD - Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Drone...
• Agile

IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE…

• C++
• Python
• Cloud Experienced - AWS / Azure
• Automated Testing experience - JUnit / Mockito
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks - ReactJS / NodeJS / Angular
• Jira / Confluence
• Microservice-based Architectures
• DevOps Tools - Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, Terraform...
