Our client is expanding its IT team, responsible for supporting over 500 users across multiples sites. This position reports into the Group IT Director and works on the front line supporting and assisting users at all levels. The company itself provide precision equipment for a variety of markets, including pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, food and life sciences and are looking for someone self motivated and driven to achieve professional success.

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 37.5 Hours Monday - Friday
Salary: £45,000-55,000

You will report to the Group IT Director and work on the design, development, management, architecture and full lifecycle of IT infrastructure for all the sites. The team ensure the infrastructure, networks and systems run smoothly, perform within targets and with minimal down time.
Duties:
- Design and Development of Infrastructure systems.
- Ensuring the infrastructure both cloud base and on site is resilient, patched and secure
- Global Support for infrastructure related issues via helpdesk system
- Working closely with international users and stakeholders at all levels
- Liaising with 3rd party support providers
Required knowledge:
- Microsoft Server 2 advanced
- Microsoft Windows 10 operating System
- Microsoft O365 administration and applications including Exchange
- MS Sharepoint
- Azure administration
- VMware
- PowerShell
- Storage and SAN
Knowledge of the following would be an advantage:
- Cisco Meraki
- Sophos Central
- Dell hardware
- HP Server Hardware
Skills / Experience:
- Proficient using Windows 10 operating systems and MS Server 2
- O365 administration and applications including Exchange
- Experienced in Azure administration
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work creatively
- The ability to review a requirement and suggest improvements
- Self motivated and driven to achieve professional success
