What will you be doing?

Creating exciting new fan facing digital products, maintaining existing digital products and aiding in the migration from legacy systems to new and improved tech stack.

-The role will involve:
-Producing quality test-driven code using modern frameworks and development techniques
-Developing technical solutions
-Developing Product integrations
-Collaborating with Product team stakeholders to estimate delivery work necessary to realise a defined user story through the delivery iteration lifecycle
-Creating and maintaining necessary Product, design and specification documentation
-Resolving technical incidents and problems, maintaining systems and applications
-Implementation of application upgrades and patches
-Using agreed / best practice security standards and specifications to design, create, test and document new or amended software


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced multi skilled PHP developer with hands on AWS knowledge who is comfortable learning new skills at pace and happy working across a wide range of technologies and frameworks.

Essential Skills

-Significant production development experience with an MVC PHP framework
-excellent working knowledge of object oriented programming PHP
-Demonstratable experience of AWS Serverless Services/Languages like API gateway, lambda, node.js, Python etc
-Experience creating, testing and utilising APIs
-MySQL
-Stay up to date with new trends and technologies
-Consideration of security
-Knowledge and hands on experience of CI/CD
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to communicate well with other members of the team (technical and none technical)
-Experience of working within a project team and a strong team player
-Good working knowledge of Twig / HTML / CSS / JavaScript
-Git
-Agile
