Business Systems Analyst - Web Applications Our client is the UK's leading provider of global verification and personal background screening services. The client provides comprehensive range of screening services to help their clients verify vital personal, professional and educational facts about individuals. An opportunity has been identified for a Business Systems Analyst to join the team. This is a new role with tremendous scope for improving the analysis and specification of our web-based applications. Role Overview: The Business Systems Analyst will have the following key responsibilities; Work with project sponsor and internal/external stakeholders to identify, clarify, and effectively document business processes and system requirements. Write and maintain system specification documents for the software development team including data models, wireframes, user stories, process flows. Work with the software development team to produce technical designs consistent with system specification documents. Organise and lead reviews of requirements/design documents Contribute to project planning and system test planning Participate in system testing and review Skills & Experience Required: Experience of working within a software development environment producing interactive web applications Confident communicator Analytical and considered approach Proactive and self-motivated Proficient with at least one domain-modelling language Proficient with at least one data-modelling notation Exposure to the Microsoft stack of web technologies, including ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, SQL Server Background in programming and/or system architecture Experience of background screening industry Experience working with external/third-party vendors Familiarity with an Agile/SCRUM approach
