We are recruiting an IT Project Development Manager. This is a new role, which as we drive forward change at a real pace in our organisation, will be a vital link between our business areas and our IT team, ensuring that projects are prioritised, managed and delivered on time and to budget.
The role will manage the ECA’s project development lifecycles, acting as the conduit with the business to agree, scope and specify project requirements. This will include managing the software development team, as well as actively developing code as part of the project team. The split is likely to be 60% development and 40% project management.
Well honed project management skills and a dynamic, people centric approach are essential. Applicants must also have an excellent understanding of project methodology control; ability to mediate and create a sense of community amongst wider groups of stakeholders and organisations within the ECA group; demonstrated experience in line management; well developed user liaison and analytical skill; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
The following technical skills are also essential: Microsoft Project or similar tracking tools; Microsoft Office 2007 or higher; Microsoft Visual Studio .NET using C#; ASP .NET, MVC, Web Forms, Entity Framework (advantageous).
The position reports to the Group Head of IT and is based in our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
