Design & Systems Engineer - Oundle - circa £45,000 + benefits - Permanent - Site Based A luxury manufacturing and engineering business is looking to appoint a Design & Systems Engineer to join its Design & Engineering team based in Oundle. This role focuses on the design and development of a wide range of mechanical and onboard systems, supporting the delivery of high-specification engineering projects within a complex manufacturing environment. The position will involve producing detailed production drawings, system schematics, BOMs, and installation documentation across systems including: Fuel systems Freshwater systems HVAC systems Hydraulic systems Fire protection systems Drivetrain installations Candidates should have previous systems or mechanical design experience within manufacturing, engineering, automotive, marine, or similarly transferable industries. Experience with 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar packages is required, alongside the ability to produce: Detailed engineering drawings Schematics Assembly and installation documentation Bills of Materials (BOMs) This is a permanent, site-based role located in Oundle. We are working with a global Software, Systems & Engineering company in the Defence Sector, supporting them with appointing a Senior EMC Engineer You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective test and evaluation of aircraft, land platforms and associated electronic and armament systems operating in complex electromagnetic environments. Day-to-day, you ll provide subject matter expertise within multidisciplinary project teams, supporting the planning, execution and assurance of electromagnetic trials across civil and military programmes. In this hands-on role, you ll be involved in the planning, setup and execution of EMC/TEMPEST tests, working directly with customer equipment and contributing to high quality technical documentation under UKAS accreditation.
