My client is a growing IT Managed Services provider with offices in the UK and USA. Due to their continued growth they are looking for a proven IT Field Technician. As IT Field Technician you will provide 1st & 2nd line technical support covering all areas of company-supported computer applications and platforms in person on client sites across Central London. The IT Field Technician will be a natural trouble shooter with a road technical skill set across technology such as Windows, MAC OSX, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory, Exchange, O365, VMware, Connectwise. You will be a confident communicator with excellent levels of customer service and someone willing to be flexible as the role will involve visiting client sites for regular weekly, monthly visits to aid them with the IT equipment. You will be a highly proactive and reliable person capable of working independently and as part of a group, completing or escalating incidents to senior members of the team as needed. You will have to travel between up to 3 locations during each day but usually this is kept to 2 sites.
