The Engineering Support Subsystem (ESS) is critical to the operation of the Eurofighter Typhoon. ESS is used by RAF personnel to communicate with the jets integrated monitoring and recording systems to retrieve information, diagnose faults and ensure that the air force can adequately protect the UK and her interests 24/7.
ESS is primarily a .Net (C#/WPF) desktop client application developed using Visual Studio, harnessing an Oracle database. My client are an established software house specialising in sophisticated administration, processing and payments services. They keep things running smoothly for some of the best-known brands and public sector organisations in the UK. Their advanced online trading platform provides a wide range of investment choices. Their additional innovative technologies allow individuals to manage their company benefits such as employee share and pension schemes. To this end, they are looking to bring on board a number of developers in an initial 3 month contract capacity to help deliver on sever strategies for one of their clients.
The ideal (url removed) Developer will have previous experience working in pension schemes with a good ability to perform scheme calculations manually (supported by appropriate tools)
Key Skills Required: (url removed) (VB6 beneficial) T-SQL (SSIS & SSRS beneficial) XML/HTML/XSL/XSD/CSS
